Including
graphics in your Web site is a great idea and makes it much more
appealing to your desired audience. However, there is a method
to organizing and managing graphic files within FrontPage.
Observe how this is done by studying the following example.
Organize and Manage
Graphics Files
By
default when you add graphic files to your Web site, FrontPage
places them inside the main Web folder (as shown below).
Examples
of graphic files are:
bd14594_.gif is a gif file and cell_p1.jpg is a jpeg file.
However,
it is easier to keep track of your graphic files if you place
them within a folder just for images. Here is how you create a
images folder.
Right click on the
main folder of your Web site. The following shortcut menu
appears. > New Folder.
A new folder now
appears after the last of the files in the main folder of your
Web site. The default name (New_Folder) is highlighted so you
can rename it. Type [Images] as the name for the new
folder and key Enter.
Now
drag all your image files to the new Images folder. To do this,
click on the image file you want to move so it is selected. Then
drag the file on top of the Images folder and drop. Repeat until
all image files are in the Images folder.
