2008 Outstanding Alumni Award & Symposium Friday, October 10, 2008 The Department of Polymer Science at The University of Akron is pleased to announce that the Alumni Award Day Symposium will be held on October 10, 2008. This symposium will include technical lectures by alumni and the presentation of the Polymer Science Outstanding Alumni Award. The 2008 Outstanding Alumni recipient is Ronald Sanderson, Ph.D. 1969. We are proud of the accomplishments of our faculty, alumni, and current students, many of whom have become leaders in polymer research and development in industry and academe. We invite all of you to celebrate the past, renew old acquaintances, and meet our new members of the faculty and our current student body.
