DUTIES: Develop and continue a nationally recognized research program in synthetic polymer chemistry.  Direct graduate student research. Participate in the polymer science instructional program and other department activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:  Ph.D. in polymer chemistry or a closely related discipline and effective communication skills required.  Demonstrated success in obtaining competitive external funding, nationally recognized research program in synthetic polymer chemistry required.  Successful direction of graduate student research, teaching experience, active research program in synthetic polymer chemistry especially in, but not limited to, the areas of electronics, photonics and biomaterials.
