M.A. Hanna Polymer Blending and Compounding Center

The M.A. Hanna
Polymer Blending and Compounding Center was established and is supported by the M.A. Hanna Company one of the United States leading
compounders and headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Center carries out basic research on mixing, reactive extrusion and mixing
machinery. It also does contract research and provides technical service for industry.
The Center came into existence during the fall of 1989. It encompasses 3500 square feet
and includes clean and carbon black compounding facilities. The Director is Prof. J.L. White. The original Principal Scientist was Dr.
Ho-Jong Kang. Currently the center is operated by Dr. A.Y.Coran as Manager.
