Frank N. Kelley Awards

Please join me in congratulating our college's first recipients of the "Frank N. Kelley Awards in Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering". By vote of the faculty in Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering, I am delighted to announce the 2007-2008 awardees are:

• Ryan Van Horn, Polymer Science
• Sedat Gunes, Polymer Engineering

These annual awards, which honor our inaugural Dean, carry a one-time award of $3,000 in recognition of their outstanding performance in research and course work in at least their fourth year of study.

A luncheon is planned within the next few weeks to formally recognize Ryan and Sedat for this distinguished honor.
