The classes will examine key processes and topics and provide teachers
with an opportunity to update their knowledge and training in Chemistry
and/or Physics.
Materials used in this course have been developed by local science
teachers and faculty in chemistry and education from the University of
Akron, Cleveland State University, Youngstown State University, and Kent
State University. The classes will focus on key topics in Chemistry
and/or Physics providing participants with a hands-on, student-centered learning
environment featuring inquiry-based, collaborative learning exercises.
Teachers are welcome to apply for one or both of the classes.
Intended Audience:
9th Grade Chemistry/Physics/Science Teachers
