The 2009 Conference Planning Committee has completed work on selecting the tracks for the 2009 annual conference and issued the first call for conference proposals. We are currently working on selecting the keynote speaker.

The committee is interested in working towards the development of an online version of the conference, for which we could charge a registration fee. For this year, we are proposing a trial run at webcasting some conference sections-- this will allow us to see if there are problems with logistics, technology, etc.

We have a tentative schedule for Spring 2009 workshops by CMCIG; DLIG/IIG; SSIG; TEDSIG; and the Diversity Committee without overlapping dates.
