This was a busy year for ALAO Membership. The Board approved a change in membership dues for retired persons making them eligible for reduced Conference rates as well as annual membership costs of $10.00.
A task force also investigated the feasibility on using an outside vendor to maintain the membership database. The recommendation of the committee was to contract with Wild Apricot as both a content management and membership database vendor. It is the hope of the ALAO Board that this new database will help streamline registration for both the Conference and workshops as well as reduce confusion during the election process regarding current and expired memberships.
