Quarterly Report

The IIG would like to thank Steve Kenneally for his years of service as co-chair and welcome Kathryn Vendetti who has agreed to serve as the in-coming co-chair.

The annual Spring workshop was a collaborative effort between IIG and the Distance Learning Group. The workshop was a big success in large part thanks to Pat Antonelli , Christine Bonner and Kristen Kirschgesler , Amy Fyn and all the guest speakers and the discussion panel . IIG plans to talk with DLIG about another collaborative effort this coming Spring and about a possible merger of the two groups.

IIG will sponsor the session titled “Pre and Post-testing as a pedagogical approach to information literacy” at the annual conference in October.

We received a list of several people interested in IIG and will be contacting them soon. Kathryn and Traci will be meeting soon to talk about the future of IIG as well as looking into the status of the Instruction Clearinghouse.
