ALAO’s 25 Annual Conference, “35th Annual Conference: At the Crossroads: Recharging, Redefining, and Realigning Our Libraries,” will take place on October 30 in Wilmington, OH. Deadline for early-bird registration is October 3. For more information on the conference, visit the conference web site (http://www.alaoweb.org/conferences/conf2009/).

The 2009 Conference Planning Committee has met with Vice President (and incoming 2010 CPC Chair) Rocki Strader. Following the 2009 conference, the combined 2009/2010 Conference Planning Committees will meet to share what we've learned from this year's conference.

Karen Wilhoit, together with Gaynelle Predmore and Jo Ann Calzonetti, has done a wonderful job of identifying a new fiscal agent for ALAO. I’ll have the latest information from Karen at the Board Meeting.
