Connecting to Online Library Resources from Off-Campus

Due to licensing agreements with vendors, you must be authenticated as a valid UA student, faculty, or staff member before accessing online resources from off-campus. There are three ways to access library resources from off-campus. Click below to learn more about each method:

UA Dial-In	UA VPN	OhioLINK Remote Authentication
Dial-up directly to the UA Access all online library resources GOOD IF: You don't have an alternate Internet Service Provider (ISP)	Set up a Virtual Private Network Access all online library resources GOOD IF: You have an alternate Internet Service Provider (i.e. AOL, Roadrunner (incl. OBEN))	Sign in using Library barcode & PIN Access select OhioLINK resources GOOD IF: You are unable to change configurations/settings on the computer you are using

*If you have set up the UA Virtual Private Network (UA VPN), make sure that your connection is activated.
