Library of Congress Subject Headings
These are the major subject headings to use when searching the UA Libraries Catalog (formerly known as ZipLINK):
Articles appear in periodicals (published journals, magazines, and newspapers). Magazines and newspapers are quality sources for up-to-date information and news, and journals provide peer-reviewed research.
There are no articles in the UL Libraries Catalog or OhioLINK. However, the library's periodical indexes, abstracts, and databases provide your most extensive access to articles. In some cases, the databases will include a link to the full text of an article. When no full text is provided, check the library's holdings for print copies of the cited periodical.
The following are selected periodical resources most appropriate for researching topics in Communication.
